Dear Everyone!
What day is better to start my Mostly Moms blog than right after an event filled with more flora, fauna and fabulousness than the 12th Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon that took place yesterday. Last year, I had the pleasure of attending this incredible event thanks to a gracious invitation from the lovely cohost (Miami’s own Rainbow Bright) Ariel Penzer Milgroom. Ariel couldn’t make it this year- but for excellent reasoning- She just became a mama this past Friday to a beautiful healthy baby boy!!! Congrats Ariel and Jeremy! I love you so much and can’t wait to hopefully host Vizcaya Family Day with you and your son Joseph Jerome in the very near future!! (wink)…
Back to yesterday… When entering the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for the luncheon, you feel as if you have entered a dream…. Your eyes are in amazement as it takes in the sea of vibrant colors, textures, patterns, gorgeous greeny, abundance of flowers, architecture rich of historical beauty and elegance. It truly is a fairy tale. Each of the attendees is a character in a magical movie that I am so grateful to have been a part of for a second year. Thank you to the c0-chairs, Eilah Campbell-Beavers, Swanee DiMare and Christy Martin, for putting on a truly spectacular production, and to my friend and our table host Suzy Buckley of Shapoh Hats for adorning all our heads in pure fantasy designs. I feel like wearing a flower crown daily now… ;)… In the meantime, stay safe everyone. I, like all of you, am conflicted with how to handle this awful virus situation. Praying for this to be cleared up soon so we can go about connecting and coming together again soon. xoxo- MAS
Hello there- It’s me, Morgan Alyse Shara, Taking in all the beauty around me on this fabulous Miami Morning. I decided to go with a floral theme and wore this Ted Baker dress I had shortened a while back and maybe a bit too short! Eeek! Lol. Thank goodness I brought a long lace white coverup by L*Space that doubled as a cape making me look magical but mostly to cover my derriere. Haha! I paired the look with my super comfortable (which is Key) perfect nude leather heels by one of my favorite shoe designers Schutz. My ‘watch’ is from my new friend and embroidery artist Celine of C.Bonz. My gorgeous white and rose gold accented floral crown was from Shapoh Hats. I didn’t have a chance to make it to see Shapoh owner Suzy Buckley in her show room before the event because I was busy being MOM Monday and Tuesday- but thankfully my dear friend Stacey Shabtai let me borrow hers. Amen for amazing women in my tribe. Thank you Stacey! I wore (and am Always in) my Magix the Unicorn necklace from my jewelry line MASbyMorganShara (fka MASbisjoux). My jewely line is my passion project of spreading love, light and believing through high end jewelry which I can’t wait to share with you all later. It has taken a bit of a back seat while I have been busy with Mostly Moms but they both are all about the power of positive energy so it will all come together full circle very, very soon.
